In the footsteps of the Huguenots

In the footsteps of the Huguenots

The village of Le Poët-Laval, in the Drôme Provençale, is the starting point for this long distance footpath… in fact, at 1400 km it is one of the longest in Europe. It tracks the historic route taken by exiled Protestants into Germany, between 1685 and 1690, following the revocation of the Edict of Nantes. The footpath is accessible to everyone – you can even get your luggage carried by mules.
